Halong Bay is located on the west coast of the Gulf of Tonkin and englobes Halong City, Cam Pha and part of Van Don District in the Quang Ninh Province. Halong Bay has a coastline of more than 120 kilometers, a surface of 1,550 km2 with about 2,000 islands, mostly limestone islands. The central region has an area of 335 km2 where nearly 800 large and small islands are concentrated.

2. Hoan Kiem Lake (Returned Sword Lake) - Hanoi

Hoan Kiem Lake (also known as "Lake of the Returned Sword" or Hồ Gươm-Sword Lake) is a natural freshwater lake in the capital Hanoi with an area of about 12 hectares. This lake also has other names such as Luc Thuy Lac, the name Ho Hoan Kiem appears in the legends of the 15th century associated with the king Thai To.

3. Terreced rice field in Sapa - Lao Cai


The third place we recommend you visit during your trip to Vietnam is SaPa. It is located in the Lao Cai province in the northwest of Vietnam and is home to magnificent terraced rice fields spread over the hillsides. With its spectacular landscapes, wild scenery markets and rich cuisine, SaPa has fascinated most of the tourists coming there.

In 2009, the Sapa rice terraces were considered by the magazine Travel and Leisure as one of the 7 most beautiful rice terraces in the world. In 2011, the magazine Lonely Planet presented Sa Pa as "one of the 10 best places in the world for walking". In November 2013, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vietnam classified Sapa as a national heritage.
