Visit Ha Giang: The Complete Guide

On the border of Yunnan (China), Ha Giang is a region enclosed in magnificent landscapes of mountains, forests, and terraced rice fields.

At the northern end of Vietnam, live here the ethnic minorities Tay, Nung, Dao, Han, and Lolo are completely preserved from the modern world.

Sung La Valley

A small valley located at an altitude of about 1,000 meters above sea level, with special natural scenery and beautiful scenery.

The height is about 33.15 meters, designed in the form of a stainless-steel flag, on the top of the column there is a 5-pointed star and a red flag with a yellow star of Vietnam.

Ma Pi Leng Pass

One of the most beautiful and difficult roads in Vietnam. Built in the 1960s, Ma Pi Leng nail has a length of about 20 km, an altitude of over 1,500m above sea level.

When to go to Ha Giang?

Ha Giang is a mountainous province where the climate is colder than the lowlands and adjacent midlands, with high humidity throughout the year and abundant, prolonged rain. It is possible to travel to Ha Giang in any season of the year.

In spring, the weather is cool and pleasant, and there are unique traditional festivals and folk games of ethnic minorities. March is also the season for peach and plum blossoms to bloom all over the villages in Ha Giang.

Summer is characterized by a typical green color of the highlands, cool weather with the temperature fluctuating at 20°C, and the preparation of fields for the new crop, the fields are flooded with water.

In the autumn, the weather is quite mild, neither too hot nor too cold. This is the season of golden rice in Ha Giang, a golden color covering the terraced fields along with the fragrant aroma of ripe rice will bring visitors a simple and peaceful feeling.
