Hanoi Voyages > Vietnam travel guide > Vietnam VISA Formalities

The rules for obtaining Vietnam visa change constantly. For a prompt and easy arrival process into Vietnam,

Hanoi Voyages takes care of your visa-on-arrival documents. If you travel with us, we will provide you with a

FREE Invitation Letter and you will only have to pay for the stamps at the airport. Easy-peasy.

Vietnam Visa-on-Arrival

Visa-on-Arrival stamp cost: $25 US dollars.

  1. After receiving your scanned passport information, Hanoi Voyages will process and obtain an entry permit- Invitation Letter. This is an official document of the Vietnamese government that allows you to enter the Vietnamese territory and obtain the visa stamp at the airport on arrival.
  2. After four working days of assessment, Hanoi Voyages will send the Invitation letter directly to you by email.
  3. Make sure to print the Invitation Letter and submit it to the airline.
  4. When you land, give the Invitation Letter and the two passport-size photos (4x6cm) to the Customs Official. If everything is in order, you will leave the Customs with a visa stamp on your passport.
  5. Note that Visa-on-Arrival is applicable only if you arrive in Vietnam by air and not by road.

VIETNAM E-VISA

An electronic visa (E-visa) is one of the visa types issued to foreigners by the Vietnamese Immigration Department via an electronic system. Vietnam E-visa is valid for a maximum of 90 days, single or multiple entry.

Foreigners living outside of Vietnam who want to enter the country can apply for an E-visa either directly or through requested agencies and organizations.

E-visa fee is paid via an electronic payment gateway as prescribed by the Immigration Department. The fee will not be refunded if the application is refused.
