Day 1Hanoi – ARRIVAL

Your adventure in Vietnam has started:
• You will be welcomed at the airport then transferred to your arranged hotel for relaxation.
• Learn about Vietnamese culture while enjoying good quality Vietnamese coursing and let the excitement begin!

Day 2Hanoi - Half day city tour

Begin the journey by unravelling Vietnamese culture, history, and religion in the capital of Vietnam:

  •  Soak in the history of the first president and Great father of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, who dedicated his life to save his country from invaders by visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex.
  • Dedicated to Confucius (Khong Tu) in 1070 and the site of Vietnam’s University (1076), the Temple of Literature is worth the visit to understand how the Vietnamese elite has been educated.
  • In the afternoon, enjoy your free time with your friend or family.
  • Overnight in Hanoi

Day 3Hanoi - HALONG bay – CRUISE and NIGHT on board

Transfer to the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay:

  • Navigate to Bai Tu Long Bay, a well-selected route away from the main tourist circuit
  • Arrive in kayaking area – that is Cap La Island. Enjoy kayaking through the karst and breath-taking nature, swimming and relaxing
  • Get back to the boat and enjoys our Sunset party while our cruise sailing to the overnight anchorage
  • Dive into culinary culture of Vietnam with a local chef by joining a cooking class on board and then enjoy delicious canapé tea
  • Free time to challenge yourself in Vietnamese puzzle games, or gathers your group/family for a board game; try your luck with squid fishing or simply has a cocktail and enjoy the quiet night on the bay.
  • Overnight on board

Authentic experience: Escape the crowd and relax in the Bai Tu Long Bay

Day 4Halong - Hanoi - FLY – HUE

For the final day in the bay, you will have adventure activities that will stick to your memory:

  • Start the morning with a Tai Chi routine on sundeck or catch a morning view of the stunning bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee and then enjoy delightful breakfast with an astonishing view under the morning sun.
  • Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.
  • Attend in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. You can quickly learn a simple but delicious Vietnamese dish that Gordon Ramsey (a 2 Michelin Star Chef) used to guide – Nem Cuon or challenge yourself in fruit and vegetables carving.
  • After enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch on boat, transfer back to Hanoi by shuttle bus. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Hue.
  • Overnight in Hue

Authentic experience: Explore Thien Canh Son Cave.

Day 5Hue - City tour

Stroll through the Imperial Citadel and daydream about its former dynasty.

  • Visit Thanh Tien village – a village that has been crafting paper flowers for 400 years.
  • Explore the symbol of Hue city, the Thien Mu pagoda and admire the garden-style homes at An Hien.
  • Glance at, and be bewitched by the Mausoleum of Khai Dinh, the final emperor’s bedazzling eternal resting place.
  • After a tour around the city, experience a village which specialises in incense-making, and a true icon of Vietnam – conical hats!
  • Overnight in Hue

Day 6Hue - HOI AN

Drive to Hoi An from Hue via the Mandarin Road, crossing the Hai Van Pass whose elevation has led to it being known as “the pass in the clouds” and it commands sapectacular views.

Detour to Da Nang to visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture, which was created in 1919 and houses sculptures from archaeological sites from the region. The Cham inhabited much of the area between the 7th and 15th centuries, and many of sculptures are inspired by Hindu art, from whom the inhabitants of the time descended.

Discover the Marble mountains, known as “the five mountain hills” each bearing the name of one of the components of our planet, Water, Iron, Earth, Wood, Fire.
Beautiful marble is extracted from the mountains, in various colors and you can admire the sculptures and the artists at work.
Marble Mountain is home to Buddhist and Taoist deities.

Day 7Hoi An - Cycling to Tra Que

With our guide, and a bicycle from your hotel, discover this charming little village, 3 km from Hoi An’s centre, an easy cycle on the good flat road.
The guide will explain the history of the village and its particular culture of growing vegetables organically, using algae from the nearby lake as fertiliser.
Discover its garden areas, and explanations on the use of various herbs grown there in traditional Vietnamese medicine. And if you feel inclined, you may participate in a little gardening yourself!
You will be introduced to different culinary delights under the supervision of the gardener that receives you and this will culminate with you enjoying them for lunch (Cooking class)
Many local specialties will be prepared and consumed, like ‘tam huu’, (vegetable spring rolls), banh xeo, a traditional pancake topped with meat and Cao Lau.
The day will end with a visit to the packing workshops, before you enjoy the easy cycle ride back to your hotel.

  • Sail down narrow waterways on a local sampan and observe productive rice fields, fruit orchards, and historic buildings
    Soak up the vibrant atmosphere at the colourful floating market of Cai Be
  • Visit a rice popcorn factory and an ancient colonial house in Vinh Long
  • Travel to Can Tho, the largest town and trading centre in Mekong Delta
  • Overnight in Can Tho

Day 11Mekong delta - Ho Chi Minh City

  • Visit the 100-year-old Binh Thuy Ancient House to appreciate the historic workmanship and architecture
  • Close the Mekong Delta trip by wandering Can Tho’s bright market
  • On the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City, visit either Vinh Trang Pagoda or a Cao Dai Temple and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon
  • Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
