ITINERARY

Day 1Bangkok - Arrival

  • A Hanoi Voyages representative will be at the airport to welcome you and transfer you to your arranged accommodation where check-in time is 2:00 pm.

Day 2Bangkok - Highlights

Begin the journey by unravelling the glorious history of the Capital of Thailand with its highlights:

  • The Grand Royal Palace complex which includes the Royal Palace and the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew (known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha)
  • Wat Pho, a giant house of the lying Buddha
  • A boat trip through the lively and bustling interior canals by traditional long tail boat
  • Wat Paknam, is a hidden museum with white stupa exhibition
  • Beautiful part of the Khlong with a mix of old wooden houses and new modern mansion
  • Orchid and fruit farm

Day 3Bangkok - Local Markets - Hua Hin

Travel to the southwest of Bangkok and get ready to observe the local market scene before getting to Hua Hin:

  • Stroll through plenty of colourful shops in Mahachai Market, one of the largest fish market in Thailand
  • Relish the taste of the local snack and photograph the Maeklong Railway Market, also known as “life-risking” market where vendors disappear in a blink of an eye at each signal of the arriving train rings.

Day 4Hua Hin - Pala-u Waterfalls - Chumphon

  • Drive through stunning countryside and hills to reach Pala-u Waterfalls which is located in Kaeng Krachan National Park, one of the largest park in Thailand.
  • Continue to Hua Hin Vineyard
  • Keep heading to Chumphon, enjoy your free time the wandering around the area.

Day 5Chumphon - Punyanban Waterfall - Raksa Warin Hot Spring - Ranong

  • Depart for the border of Burma, Ranong province. Shortly before reaching the town, stop at the waterfalls at Punyaban, accessible after crossing a thick jungle. At the bottom of this impressive waterfall, enjoy the gorgeous views and a perfect pool for bathing.
  • Continue to your hotel in the heart of Ranong. After lunch (not included), drill in one of the secrets of Thai cuisine in a farmhouse “Pou Nim”. Then explore the hot water Raskwarin in a beautiful environment for a swim. Before reaching the hot spring, you can climb on top of the temple overlooking the falls and admire the region neighbouring Burma.

 Overnight in Ranong

Day 6Ranong - Khao Sok National Park

  • Departure for Khao Sok, a preserved National Park in the South of the country with an artificial water retention pond, a living place for many rare species. Lunch at Khao Sok River Lodge.
  • In the early afternoon, canoe trip over the river in a beautiful rainforest environment covered with thick jungle hills bordering the river. During the rafting, spot many wild animals such as monkeys, birds, snakes and other reptiles.
  • Afterwards, return to the lodge and enjoy the site during your free time, before dinner at the lodge restaurant.

Day 7Khao Sok National Park - Khao Lak

Discover Khao Sok National Park to get the knowledge of its fauna and ecosystem.

  • Take a gentle trek through the jungle to access a hidden waterfall for a swim.
  • Wander around to get up close with wild orchids and carnivorous plants in the jungle.
  • Embark a canoeing trip on the Sok River for about an hour and a half, enjoy a magnificent view of the breathtaking scenery of Khao Sok, views often hidden by the density of the forest. Tree roots cling like claws and burst onto limestone cliffs and rocky surfaces.
  • Finally, transfer to Khao Lak (via Takua Pa).

Day 8Khao Lak - Ao Phang Nga - Krabi - Ao Nang

Leave Khao Lak for Ao Phang Nga Park which is famous for its limestone peaks, the bay was immortalized in a James Bond film, “The Man with the Golden Gun”. The Ao Phang Nga National Park is a true natural wonder and offers everyone the opportunity to beach on a desert island paradise.

  • Ko Tapu, a curious conical limestone formation that seems to magically float on the shallow waters of the bay, and James Bond Island will immerse you in the film’s well-known adventure atmosphere.
  • Small beaches of fine sand and natural caves dot the National Park, while the islands covered with vegetation and the calm waters are home to exceptional wildlife, including reptiles.
  • Local fishermen continue to use the four main waterways that cross the park along a north-south axis in the middle of the largest preserved mangrove forest in the country. Take boats for sightseeing in the bay.
  • Taste delicious seafood and buy craft souvenirs made by native people.

Transfer to Krabi.

Day 10Krabi - Koh Phi Phi - Phuket

  • Travel to Ao Nang port and take the boat from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi National Park.
  • Koh Phi Phi National Park consists of two islands, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Le. Located south of Krabi, the Phi Phi Islands are some of Thailand’s most beautiful exotic destinations. Coral gardens, pristine beaches and pristine forest make it a perfect destination for diving. Unlike other islands, there are no roads on Koh Phi Phi, so no cars. There are, however, small trails that allow you to cross the island on foot or by bike.
  • Unlike its sister island, Phi Phi Le is uninhabited and composed of limestone cliffs, caves, and small rocky coves. There are several bays which are great for scuba diving, and to the northeast, the famous Viking Cave, which contains paintings. The island is also home to many swallow nests, which are used in Chinese soups.
  • Continue to take the boat from Koh Phi Phi National Park to Phuket.

KOH LANTA – FLY from Bangkok to Krabi and then take an express transfer to Koh Lanta. If you are out of inspiration and hesitating between a lot of Islands, Koh Lanta has everything for you. From kayaking through a mangrove forest to sunbathing on calm and beautiful beaches, enjoy many a great range of activities on this Island. Relax in spas and get massages after a day on a beach or just grab a drink in a beach bar, the choice is yours.

 

THE CULTURAL SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT 3 days/2 nights

Be enchanted by the awesome Temples of Angkor and the history of Khmer Kings discovered at the magnificent UNESCO Heritage site.

Day 1 – SAIGON – FLY – SIEM REAP   Settle into a flight from Saigon to Siem Reap. Arrive and be welcomed by our guide and be transferred to your arranged accommodation. Overnight in a hotel with breakfast.

Day 2 – SIEM REAP – ANGKOR THOM – TA PHROM – ANGKOR WAT   Arriving in Angkor Wat, you will rove among the ruins of the world’s most famous Hindu temple complexes, built for gods, and fit for kings: Baphuon (a temple in honour of another Hindu deity, Shiva) with its spectacular layered structure, the Terrace of the Leper King with its beautiful carvings of gods, nagas, and dancers; the Royal Enclosure and its small and particularly significant temple, Phimeanakas. Overnight in a hotel with breakfast.

Day 3 – SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREI – BANTEAY SAMRE Advance to an off-the-beaten-track site, an hour away from Angkor Wat, encountering stunning Cambodian countryside and uncovering more temples: visit Banteay Srei, called the citadel of women and come face to face with the meticulously restored enclosed temple of Banteay Samre, complete with carvings of lions and nagas. Overnight in a hotel with breakfast.

Day 4 – SIEM REAP – TONLE SAP – Departure Travel to Tonle Sap and find yourself surrounded by a completely aquatic landscape, see how everyday life is transformed by its proximity to and dependence on water. Free time until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight
