Begin the journey by unravelling the glorious history of the Capital of Thailand with its highlights:

  • The Grand Royal Palace complex which includes the Royal Palace and the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew (known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha)
  • Wat Pho, a giant house of the lying Buddha
  • A boat trip through the lively and bustling interior canals by traditional long tail boat
  • Wat Paknam, is a hidden museum with white stupa exhibition
  • Beautiful part of the Khlong with a mix of old wooden houses and new modern mansion
  • Orchid and fruit farm

Day 3Bangkok - Maeklong Railway market - Damnoen Saduak floating market - Kanchanaburi

Travel to the southwest of Bangkok and get ready to experience its significances:

  • Relish the taste of the local snack and photograph the Maeklong railway market
  • Slow down on the waterway to the picturesque floating market of Damnoen Saduak
  • Visit the World War II memorial including the Jeath War Museum, Cemetery.
  • Get on a train ride along the railway to enjoy the beautiful river view around 30 minutes

Day 4Kanchanaburi - Bang Pa In - Ayutthaya

Head to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace: built during the Ayutthaya era. Appreciate it’s beauty and fascinating architectural features that is blended by European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese style (eclectic collection).
Take a journey to Ayutthaya, Roam the remaining temples and palace of ancient Thai capital, also known as the “Venice of the East” on a tuk tuk ride:

  • Ancient Palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet
  • Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat (with a Buddha face emerging from a tree)
  • Stroll local market

Day 5Ayutthaya - Lopburi - Uthai Thani

Depart for Uthai Thani via Lopburi, the second capital of the Ayutthaya Kingdom, a place for relaxation, hunting, administering the country’s affair and welcoming official visitors:

  • Visit The King Narai’s Palace built by King Narai the Great, the King who ruled Ayutthaya from 1656 to 1688
  • Stop for Ban Khok Mo village where traditional weaving remains an important activity
  • Visit the incredible Thasung temple and its “crystal hall”
  • Take a boat ride on the beautiful Sakaekrang river with its many floating houses

Day 6Uthai Thani - Sukhothai

Travel to Hub Patthard and cross a cave that will lead us to a small hidden valley:

  • Visit Kampheang Phet, the archaeological park is the UNESCO World Heritage with Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Phra Tat and Aranyik Archaeological Site
  • Enroute Phisanulok to visit the Cha Tawee Folk Museum and the riverside temple of Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, home to one of the most sacred images of Buddha in all of Thailand

Day 7Sukhothai - Lampang - Cycling villages

Cycle the Sukhothai Historical Park, the park contains almost 200 ruined chedis in remarkable condition:

  • Ajana Buddha image, the legend of spoken Buddha at Wat Sri Chum
  • Wat Prapailuang, the center of community before starting Sukhothai Kingdom in past
  • Wat Sri Sawai, Wat Sra Sri and Wat Trapang Ngoen

Overnight in Lampang
Highlight experience: Cycle tour around Sukhothai Historical Park

Day 8Lampang - Chiang Rai

  • Visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, one of the best examples of Lanna style architecture in Thailand.
  • Continue our journey to Chiang Rai.

Day 9 Chiang Rai - Doi Mae Salong - Chiang Saen

Take a drive to the Mae Salong and the “land of brightly coloured poppy fields” – the infamous Golden Triangle:

  • Hike up and down the green hills, covered with tea plantations
  • Taste the delicious tea produced by one of the many plantations of the region
  • Stroll through villages of ethnic minorities: the village Akah of Loyo, and the village Lisu of Ban Hanygo
  • Visit the Mae Fah Luang botanical garden
  • Cruise along the Mekong river to witness the lively assembling of 3 countries at Golden Triangle

Day 10Chiang Saen - Thaton - Doi Angkhang

  • Visit Opium museum where the Thai opium’s history in the past is told
  • Visit Wat Thaton Temple
  • Travel up to Mount Doi Angkhang to visit the station project Royal Doi Angkhang and planting flowers and fruits characterized by cold climate
  • Visit hill tribe villages: village of Ban Khum

  • Visit most beautiful temples: Wat Phra Singh, Wat Phan Tao, Wat Chedi Luang
  • Stroll along narrow streets lined with traditional houses on a rickshaw ride
  • Walk through the central market of Warorot
  • Climb up the Doi Suthep hill where located one of the most sacred temple in northern Thailand – the Wat Phra Tha Doi Suthep

THE CULTURAL SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT 3 days/2 nights

Day 1 – SAIGON – FLY – SIEM REAP   Settle into a flight from Saigon to Siem Reap. Arrive and be welcomed by our guide and be transferred to your arranged accommodation. Overnight in a hotel with breakfast.

Day 2 – SIEM REAP – ANGKOR THOM – TA PHROM – ANGKOR WAT   Arriving in Angkor Wat, you will rove among the ruins of the world’s most famous Hindu temple complexes, built for gods, and fit for kings: Baphuon (a temple in honour of another Hindu deity, Shiva) with its spectacular layered structure, the Terrace of the Leper King with its beautiful carvings of gods, nagas, and dancers; the Royal Enclosure and its small and particularly significant temple, Phimeanakas. Overnight in a hotel with breakfast.

Day 3 – SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREI – BANTEAY SAMRE Advance to an off-the-beaten-track site, an hour away from Angkor Wat, encountering stunning Cambodian countryside and uncovering more temples: visit Banteay Srei, called the citadel of women and come face to face with the meticulously restored enclosed temple of Banteay Samre, complete with carvings of lions and nagas. Overnight in a hotel with breakfast.

Day 4 – SIEM REAP – TONLE SAP – Departure Travel to Tonle Sap and find yourself surrounded by a completely aquatic landscape, see how everyday life is transformed by its proximity to and dependence on water. Free time until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight
